San Francisco FF was the only colt in Australia by Matthew Dowsley’s sadly deceased imported stallion SAN JOSE, who was multiple Australian young horse champion before his untimely death. San Jose was by Sandro Hit out of a Rubenstein mare, and San Francisco’s dam is by Weltmeyer. What a combination of bloodlines!
This makes him ideal for mares with the F line or D line for dressage. he is expecting his first crop of foals at Coldstream park this season so we are very excited to see what he produces. as he is smaller he could also be good to produce dressage ponies from smaller mares.
Franco has been gelded and sold to South Australia to a show / dressage home with Jessica Emma O’Sullivan.
